NEW ALBUM IS SO WONDERFUL!

Hello everyone,

I had pre-ordered Savor Flamenco from Amazon and just got it today, two days after its official release date. I'm listening to it right now, and I'm sure I'll be listening to it over and over again for some time.

All eight Gipsy Kings are listed in the liner notes as performers.

I think it's been seven years since Pasajero, and about two and a half years since Andre made the announcement about a new album on a U.S. TV show. This album is certainly worth the wait! They have continued to evolve as always. I'll leave it to Forum members more knowledgeable about music to describe the songs. I should have more things to say after listening to it multiple times.

I'm sure all other Forum members will get the album soon so we can all discuss it!

Hi, Amanda!

Found the new album when I checked the mail this evening and am listening to it now. LOVE that all eight of the Kings contributed to it; that in itself makes it worth the wait.

Will likely have more to say after I've listened a few more times, but right now, I'm "savoring" every note!

the new album is ok for the ones who know them well they will that one song is based on an famous older songs but more traditional...ME VOY is based on ATUVERA

more concerts will be planned for sure in europe and this weekend it is a special one in niagara falls. they went to berlin recently 2 times for shooting...

I really really enjoy the new album- it is so deserving of the Grammy!!
Ive listen to the G.K. and been a fan for over 20 years and think this
album was worth the wait. Hearing them play Somba Somba live at a concert
was absolutely amazing. What a great performance.

You're right about SAVOR FLAMENCO being so deserving of the Grammy. I've also had the privilege of hearing some of their new songs like Samba Samba and Caramelo live in concert. I treasure the memories of all the Gipsy Kings concerts I've attended. I've only been a fan of the GK since 2004; I wish I had started listening to their albums and going to their concerts long ago. But I tried my best to make up for lost time by going to their concert every year from 2005 through 2013.
