Hi musicfan,
Thanks for the excellent list of links, especially the one to the Gipsy Kings' official website, the song with Goran Bregovic. I had only heard "Balkaneros" on YouTube.
It's true there has been talk for a long time about a new album. In May 2011, Andre and some of the other GK were on a TV show to promote the U.S. tour. Andre said that that a new album would be released in the summer; then he sang "Caramelo" with Canut:

Re "La Negra," the link you provided is a video of the whole song, but it switches back and forth between a concert in the '90s and a concert more recently. It's done very well, but here's a link to a video of just the earlier concert, in case you think the recording is better:

The sound quality is better than the sound quality of the earlier recording, and Andre's singing style is more developed. Unfortunately, it's not the whole song:

The videos are of Andre in recent years, but the recording sound like Andre in earlier years. This is the only time I've ever heard this song. I don't think it's a GK song. According to one comment: "ce n'est pas GK c'est andré reyes et mario reyes groupe santa sahra!!!"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9K6no1vO ... re=related In addition to songs unreleased or unreleased in the U.S., I would like to add songs that were released, but only on a "Best of" or similar type of album. For example, "Gitano Soy," a GREAT song, is only on "Cantos de Amor," which many people may not have since the other songs on that album are on other albums. Here's a YouTube video which is a slide show accompanying a recording of "Gitano Soy." This song is so wonderful, I don't know why it hasn't become one of their favorites that they sing often at concerts.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfVSjDOR ... re=related You're right about "Mi Gitana" on Georges Reyes' MySpace page -- the lead singers are Nicolas and Canut.
Also on Georges' website is "La Quiero." The lead singers are Nicolas and Canut. According to the website, this song is on "The Gipsy Kings Greatest Hits," another collection album that many people may not have. They also sang this song at the Moscow concert in 1995 (Georges was there). Here's the same song on YouTube:

It's one of their earlier songs; I don't know what album it's on, since I have all their main U.S. release albums (but not the "Live" or collection albums). They did a music video of this song. Here it is on YouTube:
