Hello everyone,

This is an interesting compilation of videoclips on YouTube with narration in Russian; no description given on YouTube. First part is video of an outdoor concert at Chateau Ste. Michelle, a winery near Seattle, Washington. Audience is sitting on the lawn (picnic). In this section you can hear part of of a great live performance of “A Tu Vera.” Then it shows the GK in Red Square in Moscow, then clips of two concerts in Moscow.

Interesting videos. Пикник, the Russian word in the title, is definitely "picnic." I don't really understand too much Russian (I learned just enough to get by when I visited there), but it sounded as though the narrator was saying that whether the audience was in Woodinville in the United States or in Moscow in Russia, the enthusiastic reaction to the music of the Gipsy Kings was the same.

I like Mario's guitar work; the performance in Moscow was his first time playing for such a large audience, and he credits those appearances with the Gipsy Kings with helping him overcome his fear of playing in front of people.
